We gave Kale his first sponge bath a few days ago. The first thing he did was pee in his bath water. At the beginning of the bath he was okay and seemed to be enjoying himself.
By the end of his bath, he was not a happy camper!! He did many of the open mouthed screams, where he just shook and turned bright red, but no sound came out. By the end of the bath, I was convinced that he was going to lose his voice. His cry was even hoarse.
We dressed him in nice, warm clothes after the bath. He was exhausted and ready for bed after the traumatic bath experience!
